Installation options
iBizSim is an internet-based, client-server application. This means that the application is installed on a server and any client can access it over the internet.
There are two options to install and use iBizSim.
- On your dedicated server: This is the recommended way of installing iBizSim. You agree to set up a dedicated server in your campus network. You provide a simple, standard PC and we install free of charge the complete system from scratch. The only requirement is that your dedicated server is accessible from the internet, so that we can carry out the installation via the internet.
- On our dedicated server: We provide this alternative to business schools that may have difficulties in setting up their own dedicated servers. This is frequently the case when campus policy and/or firewalls prohibit such an installation. In such cases we offer to set up your installation on our dedicated server. The only difference that your students would notice while accessing our server is in the URL, the web address of our server.
