Version 3.00.000 rolled out

The latest Version 3.00.000 was completed as scheduled at the end of August and installations are being upgraded.

The features planned for this version were:
  1. Extensive changes in the database structures to enable easy development of new data models.
  2. Extensive changes to the programs to enable multi-lingual development.
  3. Improved user interface for students.
  4. Improved admin interface for instructors.
Further changes in the backend built into this version are:
  1. The programming language PHP was upgraded to PHP5.
  2. The database server PostgreSQL was upgraded to V.8.2.
